Our experience covers a broad range of trusts, including:

  • Revocable Trusts
  • Irrevocable Trusts

Executor/Estate Administrator

When it comes time to appoint someone to manage your estate, it is essential to choose an individual or entity with both experience and the ability to make objective decisions. The process of estate administration involves many complex tasks and responsibilities that require impartiality and expertise.

Even when you have family members or close friends who are willing and able to serve as your estate administrator, the role can often be overwhelming.

By appointing a professional to handle estate administration, you can help preserve family relationships and dynamics.

A professional administrator brings a neutral perspective, ensuring decisions are made fairly and efficiently, alleviating stress and preventing potential conflicts among family and friends.

Agent under Financial Power of Attorney

Managing assets can become particularly important during times of need or when your priorities shift, such as choosing to spend more time on retirement or travel. Our services are designed to assist you in these moments, ensuring that your financial affairs are handled efficiently and responsibly.

Whether you require support due to unforeseen circumstances or simply wish to focus on enjoying your life, we are here to help you oversee your assets and provide peace of mind.

Conservator of the Estate

If you or a loved one becomes incapacitated and is no longer able to manage personal assets, we can be appointed by the court to serve as conservator. In this capacity, we act with legal authority to oversee and manage the conservatee's finances in a responsible and ethical manner.

As conservator, we are here to protect the conservatee's assets and ensure they’re always used in the conservatee's best interests. We’ll take care of all financial matters with compassion and dedication, making sure the conservatee's needs are met and their resources are protected.

Fees for Services

Compensation for fiduciary services is structured to reflect the scope and responsibilities of each engagement. The nature of fiduciary work can vary significantly depending on the complexity of assets, the level of administration required, and whether the matter is privately administered or subject to court oversight.

Hourly Fees

For most fiduciary appointments—including Trustee services, Conservatorship of the Estate, and service as Agent under Financial Power of Attorney—fees are charged on an hourly basis.

Hourly rates typically range from $165 to $250, depending on the complexity and nature of the work.

Detailed records of time and services are maintained in accordance with professional fiduciary standards. For court-supervised matters, compensation may be subject to court review and approval.

Estate Administration (Probate)

Compensation for Probate Estate Administration in California is governed by the statutory fee structure set forth in the California Probate Code.

These fees are calculated based on a tiered percentage of the estate’s value as defined under California law.

The statutory structure provides a standardized framework for compensation in probate matters.

Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs)

Administration of Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts is typically handled on a flat annual fee basis.

The fee is determined by the number of life insurance policies owned by the trust, as administrative responsibilities correlate with policy management, premium oversight, and related compliance tasks.

Fee Transparency

Whenever possible, the anticipated fee structure is discussed at the outset of an engagement. The goal is to ensure clarity regarding responsibilities, scope of work, and expectations for administration.
